Hi everyone, and welcome to A Book with Brina! I’m Sabrina, and I’m so excited that you’re here. If you’ve ever picked up a book and suddenly realized that you’ve been transported somewhere completely different, introduced to unforgettable characters, and lost track of time because you just had to know what happened next, then you’re in the right place.

My love of reading actually began when I was just seven years old, when I discovered the Goosebumps series. I was fascinated by the stories, the suspense, and the feeling of escaping into another world. Those books opened the door to a lifelong love of reading—and I never quite forgot the feeling they gave me.

As I grew older, my reading interests grew with me. I enjoyed books such as A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Boxcar Children, and The Bailey School Kids. Eventually, I discovered authors such as Eric Jerome Dickey and Donna Hill, along with many other writers and stories that captured my imagination. Rediscovering my love of reading as an adult, I realized that I had missed something. I missed that feeling of becoming completely absorbed in a story. I missed the excitement, the curiosity, the passion, and even the nostalgia that came with opening a book and allowing myself to disappear into its world for a little while. So I decided it was time to continue my reading journey. And that’s where A Book with Brina comes in.

This blog is my little corner of the book world where I can reconnect with that childhood love of reading while discovering new stories along the way. I love escaping into different worlds, but one of my favorite parts of reading is getting to know the characters and their personalities. I want to understand who they are, what motivates them, how they change, and why I either love them, dislike them, or find myself completely fascinated by them.
